About Ansley

My journey is not unlike many other equestrians. Horses have remained a constant in my life since childhood. Spending hours in the barn getting lost in all things horses, was and still is my perfect type of day.

Professionally, my background is in massage therapy, anatomy and biomechanics. Being a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida for over 10 years, I am also certified in equine bodywork as well as equine rehabilitation. Additionally, I have achieved my Permitted Equine Therapist (PET) qualification through the FEI. My continuing education spans equine behavior, anatomy, pathology, biomechanics, hoof care, saddle/bit mechanics, myofascial release, kinesiology taping as well as other therapeutic modalities.

Key to success

Remember: slow, patient and intuitive

My approach to therapy is much like my approach to horsemanship. Slow, patient and intuitive. These are key pieces that make my methods successful. Horses are not a one size fits all situation. Each one is unique and special. Which is why you need to learn more than one facet to truly understand and care for them. Equine behavior, nutrition, hoof care, tack, training and lifestyle… these are all collective pieces that make up the foundation of your horse’s longevity and soundness.

deeper connections

The better we understand our horses, the deeper our connection with them becomes

The passion behind my Equine Wellness Education courses comes from wanting to bridge the gap between equestrians and the unknown. Every equestrian should have the knowledge to advocate and make educated decisions for their horse. True soundness and functionality come from not just addressing the horse and its surroundings, but also by informing the people who influence these aspects. By empowering the everyday equestrian, I truly believe we can give our horses the best chance at a pain free, sound life. The better we understand our horses, the deeper our connection with them becomes.

My hope is that through my courses, treatments and guidance you can have your dream relationship with your horse. I think at the end of the day we all want happy, healthy, sound horses… and that is exactly what I’d like to help you achieve!
