In this minicourse we will be doing a deep dive into the anatomy of the hoof and the mechanics of how it works with the rest of the equine body. You’ll learn about the different pathologies and abnormalities that commonly affect the hoof. Most importantly it’s going to teach you to recognize early indicators of hoof issues so you can prevent problems in your own horse’s feet!

After taking this class students have reviewed that they feel more confident analyzing their horse’s feet and have a better overall understanding of hoof issues and how to prevent them.
